This is the first of its kind for WASI. Kawsaypac is a photo book showcasing the life of a Bolivian-American family. Kawsaypac is a Quechuan term that translates "to life", this is an ode to life. The photography work in this book has been collected throughout generations and shows an intimate look into life as a Latina, a hyphenated person, a woman of color, and a kid of immigrants. It's also designed to be a sort of open diary of sorts, with snippets of open thoughts and scattered poetry mixed in with imagery.
